Service Description: This feature class depicts the legacy Critical Area line that was adopted in 2017. This data is currently used for regulation by the Calvert County Department of Planning & Zoning. This dataset was not fully documented and should be used with caution. The Critical Area line is a result of converting the 1000-foot buffer of tidal shoreline and landward edge of tidal wetlands, to a line so that it can be used as the landward boundary of the Critical Area.
