Description: This dataset depicts land parcels in Calvert County, Maryland. It was developed to support cartography and analysis and is maintained by the Department of Technology Services. Relevant fields are updated monthly from data obtained from the Maryland Department of Assessment and Taxation (SDAT). This information is provided to SDAT on demand and is used to prepare updated tax mapping. Please note that this dataset only depicts real property in Calvert County, Maryland. Condominiums are not currently modeled in this dataset. Certain off-shore properties such as boat slips are contained in the dataset if they were given a tax account number by SDAT. Fields & descriptions: (Fields with an '*' are not for external distribution) ACCTID: Tax account number. This is a concatenation of the County code '05', the assessement district '01' or '02' or '03' and a unique 6 digit number assigned by SDAT. LEGAL1: 1st line of the legal description from SDAT; this is updated monthly. LEGAL2: 2nd line of the legal description from SDAT; this is updated monthly. LEGAL3: 3rd line of the legal description from SDAT; this is updated monthly. MAP: Tax map where the property is assigned by SDAT. *OWNNAME1: 1st line of the name of property owner from SDAT; this is updated monthly. *OWNNAME2: 2nd line of the name of property owner from SDAT; this is updated monthly. PARCEL: Parcel number. *SC_APPR: Approved and adopted sewer category as assigned by Planning/Public Works. *SC_CUR: Current sewer category in the process of being approved and adopted. *WC_APPR: Approved and adopted water category as assigned by Planning/Public Works. *WC_CUR: Current water category in the process of being adopted. *Exempt_Class: Tax exempt codes assigned by SDAT. *Exempt_Name: Tax exempt descriptions assigned by SDAT. *Exempt_Group: Regrouping of Exempt Class for local mapping and analysis. LIBER: Liber (deed book) from SDAT; this is updated monthly. Folio: Folio (deed page) from SDAT. This is updated monthly. PRCLID: Parcel ID used by the County INFOR land management system; a concatenation of map, parcel, block, lot & section. *PRCLVER: Parcel version field used by the County INFOR land management system; this field is managed by the systemBlock: Block, if applicable for a property. LEGALDESC: Property legal description, a concatenation of fields LEGAL1, 2 & 3. *LEGALOWNER: Property legal owner, a concatenation of fields OWNNAME1 & 2. Lot: Lot, if applicable. MAPNO: unique 6 digit tax account number; equivalent to the last 6 digits of the value in field ACCTID. SECTION: Section, if applicable. SUBDIVCODE: Subdivision code assigned by SDAT, this is updated monthly. *PRCLKEY: Key field that associates GIS parcel to INFOR land parcel record; this field is system-maintained. SourceType: Type of record document that created the parcel. TopoMapLInk: Link to relevant County topo map. TaxMapLink: Link to relevant state tax map. ZoningMapLink: Link to relevant County zoning map. WaterMapLink: Link to relevant County water map. SewerMapLink: Link to relevant County sewer map.
